2013 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 26,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 10 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. And you deserve far more. Thank you for helping to keep me grounded this year. Your is one of the blogs I read consistently, along with The Obama Diary, Smartypants, and The People’s View. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us.

My THANKS also…and now I’m hijacking the comments to post something that I cannot on any of the blogs I have previously read/commented on regarding the story of MHP’s segment last week (still 2013) that suggested captions for a pathetic Romney family “portrait”…Political Animal falsely “reported” that she directed comments to that baby…my comment:
You know he opening of this article is OFFENSIVE to me. I watched the segment on MHP and while better suited to THE DAILY SHOW…it made me giggle. The following: ” Melissa Harris-Perry made thoughtless and hurtful remarks about Mitt Romney’s adopted African-American grandson” is completely FALSE! Nothing said was directed at that baby (except sadness that although he will be RICH he still has to live with the Romneys – my take). The three “remarks” were more pokes at the pseudo humanity of this clan. NOW I’m waiting for old Rushbo to genuinely say SORRY to the young Chelsea Clinton and the Obamas…yeah, like that will happen!

Sorry and thank you for allowing me to VENT. I am enraged at how this and so many other “stories” are simply picked up and passed on by today’s media. Many blogs are changing formats and commenting and it stinks…the good news is soon I’ll only have you to read and then follow recommendations for other sites that you provide…GEEZ
